We love great coffee and believe it's more than just a drink. It's an important part of your daily life. A ritual for some. An escape for others. Coffee isn't just about energy, it's about a mindset.
Let's face it – we deserve better coffee. Suffice to say, we've found the world of small-batch specialty coffee to be overwhelming in choice; superabundant in jargon; and perhaps, slightly ...pretentious?! So we're on a serious mission to change this persona.
We created Stim Coffee Co. to usher you from humble, novice experimenter, to a full-blown user of exceptional coffee. All while challenging industry stereotypes. We're not boring. We're not confusing. We're just a fun, fresh, and rebellious take on specialty coffee.
The name – a shorthand reference to "stimulant" – is our nod to caffeine. The playful pharma vibes? That's a callout to the world's most celebrated (and legal) neuroactive stimulant. That's right – no prescription required.
Stim Coffee Co. sources premium coffee beans from top-tier cultivators all around the world, with each lot small-batch roasted in Vancouver, Canada.

(noun) shorthand for stimulant, referencing 1,3,7-Trimethylpurine-2,6-dione (C₈H₁₀N₄O₂). Commonly known as 'caffeine', the world’s most widely consumed (and celebrated) neuroactive pick-me-up.
(verb) to energize, uplift, and fuel the tone of greatness.

RYAN WONG
Ryan's career began consumer tech, where he had the privilege of leading numerous Sales and Marketing teams in new growth markets. Over time, he found his niche in corporate roles that leaned into his intrapreneurial spirit, a path that would eventually inspired him to launch his own venture.
It was also during his time in Corporate 9-5 that Ryan was (formally) introduced to coffee in the form of a Starbucks "Tall Pike". Over the years, his curiosity has evolved from coffee chains; to independent cafes; and finally, traveling the world to experience coffee abroad. His pivot from corporate intrapreneur to caffeine entrepreneur can be summed up in a single Dad joke – one that we refuse to post here.

Adam Williston
Adam is a marketing leader with experience in managing tech and lifestyle brands. While various unsubstantiated claims place him between 6'2" and 7'1", behind his daunting presence is a vibrant, energetic soul with an unwavering passion for growth. His natural calm in the face of adversity also makes him the perfect therapist for Ryan. (Adam has never formally agreed to this responsibility, nor is he a licensed therapist.)
Inspired by the mellow, caramelly vibes of Highland Scotches and the nuanced hops of a West Coast pale ale, Adam is in endless pursuit of the perfect morning Americano, and midday Cortado. He believes that great, easy-to-understand coffee is the perfect performance-enhancing helper that everyone needs and deserves.
MIGRAINE CANADA
Migraines affect 25% of Canadian households, and our co-founder, Ryan, is one of them. Since high school, he's dealt with visual auras, blinding light sensitivity, and sudden nausea.
Over the years, Ryan's made lifestyle changes in hopes of isolating the trigger points of this debilitating condition. This eventually led him to a fascinating double-edged sword: caffeine. Some medical experts believe caffeine consumption during early onset can help to mitigate migraine symptoms. Other findings suggest that too much caffeine can trigger migraines.
While it's not exactly clear what the threshold is, Stim Coffee Co. has partnered with Migraine Canada in a shared commitment to raise funds and awareness of this condition.
